埃及棉花出口增加 植棉面积扩大

埃及官方统计显示，2017年9月至2018年2月，埃及棉花出口量达到50.8万坎塔(1坎塔=45公斤)，高于上年同期的33.7万坎塔，同比增长50%，原因是棉花供应增加。
同期，受廉价进口棉花的冲击，埃及国产棉的消费量为4.72万坎塔，而上年同期为12.76万坎塔，同比下降63%。
埃及棉花年度为每年9月至次年8月。2016/17年度，埃及棉花出口量为43.1万坎塔，同比增长12.6%。
