巴基斯坦恢复棉花进口关税 新棉采摘已经开始

据美国农业参赞的最新预测，2017/18年度巴基斯坦棉花产量将达到900万包（196万吨），略低于美国农业部之前的预测，主要是本年度巴基斯坦种植面积减少，而单产没有增加。
据了解，7-8月巴基斯坦的季风降雨明显低于平均水平，棉花作物在很大程度上依赖于地下水灌溉。巴基斯坦棉花对粉色棉铃虫的抵抗力较弱，但暂未造成太大影响。目前，巴基斯坦棉花采摘已经开始，如果9月份晚季降雨出现，可能会影响棉花产量和质量。
据最新消息，巴基斯坦政府恢复了棉花进口关税和销售税，棉花进口成本提高了约9%。这一政策的实施出台正处于棉花采摘时期，有助于棉花收获，同时减少了棉花的进口量。根据巴基斯坦官方初步预测，2016/17年度巴基斯坦的棉花进口量或低于220万包（48万吨）。（来源：中国棉花网）
